The duty of a Branding and Media strategist is to:

- Develop campaigns that increase brand awareness for clients and generate return on investment.

- Know how to use the different promotional channels like the print, press and social media

- Be up to date with emerging industry trends.

The rest include:

(1) Creation of an enticing content about the brand
(2) Identification of key audiences
(3) Identification of the types of media these audiences use
(4) Identification of how they use these media in their daily lives
(5) Identification of the rates of the users of each type; either social media or any other, like the press.
(6) Making sure the campaign for awareness reaches every intended audience
(7) Feedback
