Summer is just around the corner, which means that a ton of new films are about to come storming into theaters. Here are 20 summer blockbusters that will heat up the box office in 2016.
Captain America: Civil War, Release Date: May 6, 2016 Captain America Civil War, Disney, 042616 Disney Since we were first introduced to Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man back in 2008, all roads have been leading to Captain America: Civil War. It looks like Captain America is tired of taking orders from Tony Stark, especially when his BFF Bucky gets caught in the crossfire. We're about to see Cap go rouge against everything he once stood for. Though Chris Hemsworth's Thor won't be joining us for this battle, we will be seeing Black Widow, Hawkeye, and it will be our first look at Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther ahead of his own franchise debut. Oh and we'll also get a sneak peak at the new teen Spider-Man. Is it May 6th yet?

Now, Jason Sudeikis and Bill Hader are about to bring these pissed off birds to life. In The Angry Birds Movie, the birds are content with their lives until some mysterious pigs invade their island paradise.

Everett, 042616 Universal/Everett Back in 2014, Zac Efron's frat bro Teddy terrorized his neighbors Mac and Kelly, but this time around the trio are teaming up against the Kappa Nu sorority. We all know ladies can be a lot more devious when it comes to getting their way, so this just might be the summer spectacle that you've been looking for. Selena Gomez and Chlöe Grace Moretz also star in the film.
Through The Looking Glass, Release Date: May 27, 2016 Mia Wasikowska, Alice Through The Looking Glass, Disney, 042616 Disney Though it's been six years since Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland hit theaters, we are finally getting a sequel with Alice Through the Looking Glass. Though this film is being helmed by director James Bobin, we will get to see what happens when Mia Wasikowska 's Alice returns to the whimsical world of Underland, and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter. It's also a chance to hear the late Alan Rickman in his last film.
