TITLE:  THE WRATH OF A DAUGHTER

LOGLINE: A trusting lady finds that her mother’s actually a step-mother who is later rumoured to be the murderer of her uncle and covetous of the lady’s inheritance. Her father’s friend and son are also on her trail; her boyfriend is a coward and allies are shockers.  While she fights the battle of survival she also needs to choose a mother whose mission she must align with.

 SYNOPSIS:  After the birthday party, Rose reveals to Rachel that she is not her real mother.
But Rachel still trust and loves her especially since Rose, unlike Daniel supports her romance with Tolani. Daniel is being lured into selling two of his companies for a greater investment but Rose wants to stop the sale by all means. She employs Sadiat as a private eye but Sadiat accuses her of murder in court and provides video evidence which makes Rose to get a death sentence. While in prison Betty tells her that she’s not able to steal a file from Daniel’s safe because another person has stolen it. Johnson also approaches Sadiat to know who has the MEHOF file. Toba connects Tolani with Doyin and that causes a break up with Rose. Later Doyin is murdered and Tolani is the fleeing suspect who needs Betty’s protection but Betty needs to kill Rose in the prison. Rachel wants to prove her mother’s innocence. Sadiat needs to kidnap Rachel. Rose needs to protect Rachel. And Rachel needs to avenge her uncle, father and mother.

INT. DANIEL’S HOUSE- LIVING ROOM. DAY.
Daniel comes in with his P.A and leaves him in the living room.
                           DANIEL
        I will tell my daughter to come and assist you.
Daniel goes upstairs. Johnson sits.
                          JOHNSON
The man is smart. But am I really incapable of doing this without his help? No!
Rachel comes down to the living room.
                          RACHEL
        Hello, Johnson!
                          JOHNSON
Hello Rachel. I’m sorry I didn’t call after your birthday.
                   RACHEL
You didn’t have any reason to call me and you won’t ever have one.
                   JOHNSON
What do you mean?
                   RACHEL
I mean whatever you are trying with my dad, whoever initiated it, just stop. Stop it!
                   JOHNSON
Rachel, let me be honest with you, I never loved you at all. And that’s because I only met you in pictures in your daddy’s office. But since I saw you three days ago, I’ve lost my heart to you. Command me mother confessor.
                          RACHEL
        (laughs)I’m not a gift item, Johnson.

RACHEL: She’s 18 years old. She’s trusting and innocent but vindictive. She’s enraged by the discovery of treachery. Rachel breaks up with Tolani when he refuses to stop meeting with Doyin. But she still has concern for him when he’s declared wanted by the police for the murder of Doyin. After Rose is sentence to death she decides to take revenge.
ROSE: She’s Rache’s step mother. She’s 43 years old. She’s very inquisitive and smart and uses her skill as a former detective to gather information.
TOLANI: he’s Rachel’s boyfriend. He’s timid but smart. Although Rachel breaks up with him he still cares about her and wants to protect her.
BETTY: She’s Rose’s friend and employee. She serves her until she’s forced to kill her.

This is a great script which is uncommon. It’s is loaded with suspense and surprises, romance and twists and there is no import of elements of bewitchment and divination but interplay of intellectuality.
