It’s always interesting to see what celebrities were up to before they became famous. Shockingly, a lot of them were trying to find love or money on game shows! After all when you think about it, celebs without money and fame are just like us. So which celebrities got lucky or lost big on TV? 2. Jon Hamm on The Big Date
Before he was Don Draper on Mad Men, Jon Hamm was a regular guy trying to find a date. In the clip from 1996, you’ll him with the popular floppy hair style that was so popular back in the 90’s.

Lady Gaga is a household name now, but back in 2005 she was on this MTV show, she had to stay calm while a waitress served her food covered in trash.

Before Cheers, Kirstie Alley was an interior designer from Kansas. Back in 1979, she also went on the fun game show to try and win some money.

Back in the day, Steve Martin was still just a writer, and his face wasn’t really on camera. However, he was also keeping up with his musical interests. On The Gong Show he played “Foggy Mountain Breakdown” with his banjo.
10. Paul Reubens on The Gong Show
Before he was Pee-wee Herman Paul Reubens performed on the show in 1979 as half of the Betty and Eddie act. The two had fun rocking top hats and wigs while singing and dancing.
